Refund, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy for River D Rentals

River D Rentals understands that event plans can change. Because each restroom trailer is reserved specifically for a customer's event date and may prevent River D Rentals from accepting other bookings for that date, the following policy applies to paid reservations.
Reservation Deposit
A 50% deposit and signed Rental Agreement are required to reserve an event date. A reservation is not confirmed until both the required deposit and signed Rental Agreement have been received by River D Rentals.
The 50% reservation deposit is non-refundable. The deposit secures the selected restroom trailer for the scheduled event date and removes that trailer and date from availability for other customers.
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance may be paid at any time before the event but must be paid in full no later than the day of the event. River D Rentals is not required to place the restroom trailer into service until all amounts then due have been paid.
Cancellations
If a customer needs to cancel an event or rental, River D Rentals must be notified as soon as possible.
The 50% reservation deposit remains non-refundable. Any payments made in excess of the required deposit will be handled according to the circumstances and timing of the cancellation and the terms of the customer's signed Rental Agreement.
Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule a rental will be considered based on restroom trailer availability and are not guaranteed.
If River D Rentals approves a rescheduled date, payments may be transferred to the new event date at River D Rentals' discretion. Additional charges may apply if the event location, rental duration, services, utility requirements, or other rental details change.
Weather & Unsafe Conditions
Weather-related cancellations or changes do not automatically qualify for a refund.
River D Rentals reserves the right to temporarily suspend operation, delay service, or make reasonable operational adjustments if severe weather or unsafe conditions threaten the safety of guests, employees, vehicles, equipment, or property.
Force Majeure
Neither River D Rentals nor the customer will be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations when performance is prevented or materially affected by circumstances beyond the affected party's reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, government actions or restrictions, road closures, utility interruptions, emergencies, or other unforeseen events that make performance unsafe, unlawful, or impracticable.
If such an event prevents River D Rentals from safely delivering, setting up, operating, servicing, or retrieving the restroom trailer, River D Rentals will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and, when feasible, offer rescheduling subject to trailer availability.
Any deposit, payment, refund, or rescheduling resulting from a force majeure event will be handled in accordance with this policy and the customer's signed Rental Agreement unless otherwise agreed to in writing by River D Rentals.
Refunds & Exceptions
Except as otherwise provided in a signed Rental Agreement or agreed to in writing by River D Rentals, the 50% reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Any exception to this Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy must be agreed to in writing by River D Rentals.
Rental Agreement
Each paid reservation is subject to a signed River D Rentals Rental Agreement. If the terms of a customer's signed Rental Agreement differ from this general website policy, the signed Rental Agreement will control for that specific reservation.
